-     there are 1,6 Million single parents

-    30% of all children are " illegimate" children

-    Every fifth child is reared by a single parent

-    in the capital Berlin each 3. mother is a single parent and there  

     are more and more single fathers.

Building societys proceed to take in consideration the special needs  

of single parents and their children as well as of singles as such!  

Kindergarten 

By organizing regional Kindergarten single parents can make life  

easier and improve the education of their children. Herein lies the greatest potential for the intersingles-system:

Lead by professional staff Kindergarten should daily be opened as long as needed to allow single parents to work shiftwork.

A little bistro and other sevice offers can invite to stay longer, to meet friends and to exchange experiences with other parents. That way the area becomes life-center for children, parents, educators, Kindergarten-teachers and supporters of all kind.

Regional working parents and other circles of friends can be included.  

- Children can grow up there like in extended famillies or rural   

communities.  

- A diel care can be organized in proper facilities.

- Professional life and parenting can be compatible for single   

parents.

- Single parents and their children can live in sufficent social  

exchange and avoid that way overload and misconduct.

- Senior singles can become "grandma and grandpa" and godparent-

hood can be assumed - all under permanent supervision of    

professional staff.

- The private apartment is separate and taboo. It is "retreat area" for  

single parent and her or his child.
